Tourism in the Ecuadorian economy: The work situation from the vision of breastfeeding
Abstract
This reflection article frames the gaps that avoid women from advancing in their personal role as mothers, as well as their work role in the tourism sector in Ecuador. Against all odds, this type of woman is leaving and stopping discrimination, stereotypes, lack of public policy, violence, etc. In the statistical figures you can see the consequences that being a mother and a worker is very hard, the tendency is not to have children. A State is due to its population, its territory and its power; Ecuador without a population would have other consequences, one would be the lack of female intensity in the tourism workforce. The objective is to raise awareness to transform the social fabric, gender inequality is at all levels. The methodology is based on bibliographic information, with a positivist approach. The identification of the variables was obtained through conclusive descriptive research, using quantitative and qualitative research tools. The results indicate that with the existence of women's comparative advantages, it is determined that the presence of women in the workforce has a positive impact on productivity, all considerations must be taken so that women can surf the sea of existing obstacles and not surrender. The collection of data from approximately 23 bibliographical references serves to make various assessments and even make a comparison with the case of the United Kingdom, since in order to grow it is advisable to imitate the best.
