Cost effectiveness of the investment in local archaeological heritage. the case of the Roman Villa of Salar (Granada)
Abstract
The firm wager of the City Council of Salar for the investment in research, conservation and enhancement of the homonymous Roman villa, has led to a revolution in this small town in Granada, which has seen in this heritage , not just an identity and cultural reference , but an alternative for its precarious economic fabric, based on sustainable and quality tourism. In this way, and in a few years, this investment is demonstrated, not only socially amortized, but economically profitable.
