Safety aspects in sites of tourist interest in the Calafate and Glaciers National Park, Southern Patagonia, Argentina
Abstract
renowned tourist destinations of the "Perito Moreno Glacier" and the town of "El Calafate" (The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in a national park, where They carry out various activities: walks on footbridges, walks of varying difficulty on the glacier, sailing, while in the city of El Calafate you can do sports activities on the nearby "Lago Argentino").
The objective is to analyze the security aspects of each of the offers, which involve visitors, tourists and tourism workers. A methodology is proposed that, based on the identification of the dangers associated with the various activities, allows us to diagnose the potential risk and, based on these results, recommend the corresponding prevention measures.
It is intended to highlight the importance of eliminating or minimizing the risks present and in this way ensuring a pleasant, enriching and safe experience for all those who are involved in the tourist activities of the analyzed sites.
