Tourist products methodology for its elaboration: cultural and historical product in the coast district, buenos aires province, argentine republic.
Abstract
Systematic process to the elaboration of new touristic products sustained in field experiences and based in the development of alternatives products for a sun and beach destination in the Coast District, Buenos Aires Province, Argentine Republic. The mentioned District is located at the Southeast of Buenos Aires Province, distant 340 kilometers from Buenos Aires city. It has 96 kilometers along the coast and a width between 2 and 4 kilometers. Its main economic activity is tourism. This work is organized in two different parts: a general theoretical approximation and an annex which includes as example the historical-cultural product (lighthouses, museums, traditional festivals, wrecks, theme parks and pioneers) selected to this destination.
Two aspects to be considered: first, the intervention in a territory which is a touristic destination that has a highly seasonal product and a marked image; second, its visitors who are expecting to satisfy their expectations, demanding an integrated experience.
It´s important to consider that certain factors seemed to be unquestionable to the effectiveness for reaching the objectives from this proposal which are constitutive parts of this methodology, like as:
- Inter-institutional, political, administrative and technical agreements: Municipality and universities.
- Agreements between public and private sectors.
- The formation of a technical and inter-institutional team.
